As a nurse, I get it! Long shifts, busy days, always on the move. I still want to feel like me though! I found wearing jewelry (that I live in) helped with that.
I have created a line up jewels that can keep up with the everyday nurse. Shift ready jewels are comfy, low maintenance, easy on and off and add a touch of personality to our uniformed world.

What came first? The chicken or the egg?!
In this case, Fraypearls came first!
Jewelry making was a hobby that I picked up in high school that followed me to college where I began my nursing journey.
I have grown my business alongside growing my nursing career as an ICU nurse, travel RN, and now permanently nursing in Charleston!

Connect? Jewlery and nursing? NO way!
Generally speaking, there shouldn’t be any overlap between these two. However, there are a few things that come to mind when I sit down and reflect.

Attention to detail goes without saying in the medical field, but the same goes for creating intricate jewelry pieces. Focusing on the details makes the nigger picture seamlessly connect.
Being creative under pressure for a client who has a specific vision in mind for jewelry is something I thrive doing. The same can be true for difficult patients when you have to pull out those nurse tricks you’ve learned along the way to get positive outcomes for your patients.
